Zodwa is a registered member of both the Compliance Institute of South Africa, as well as the Chartered Secretaries of South Africa. Zodwa has her professional Advance Qualification, specializing in Governance and Administration.

To-date, Zodwa has 30 years service in the Financial Services Industry in South Africa, having worked for FNB in their retail banking environment, to compliance officer in the CIB division of Citibank N.A. a member of the global Citibank Group and then compliance officer at JP Morgan Chase Bank. Zodwa then took on a role as Head of Compliance in the Sanlam Capital Markets CIB division on a contractual basis before moving to Black Lyon as head of governance, risk and compliance.

Finally, before taking on the role of compliance officer at Kela Securities, Zodwa was senior compliance officer at Liberty Finance, where she was responsible for the development and continuous review for appropriateness of a strong control framework to monitor financial crime developments impacting the business lines in LibFin and the Liberty Group. This included escalating business compliance risks that may have had implications on other Liberty Group Businesses and Functions.
